Offices with controlled access
For an office suite, coordinate with building management about entry and permission to alter hardware. Tell us if an electronic credential and a mechanical key are used together. Changing a suite cylinder does not automatically update the building access system.
Home locks after a move
Count the cylinders you want rekeyed and discuss whether they can share a key. Keep any existing keys available for assessment. If a door already sticks or does not latch cleanly, include that problem in the scope so a key-access change does not leave the original symptom unresolved.
Car keys in a shopping or residential garage
Identify the garage entrance, parking level and vehicle position. Confirm the exact car year, make, model and key type before booking replacement work. Ask whether the estimate includes cutting, programming and other agreed functions, then test those functions at handover.
