Residential key changes
After a move or missing key, consider every exterior keyed cylinder included in the plan. Explain whether a unit has its own entrance or shares a building door. If the hardware works correctly, rekeying may be appropriate; visible damage or poor locking action should be assessed separately.
A shop or office door
Identify the entrance and who may authorize the work. If the affected key operates several doors, bring that full list to the call. For a door that will not close or latch normally, describe the symptom rather than requesting only a cylinder replacement.
Vehicle access beyond the street address
For a car in a garage, include the entrance and level. For a private lot, mention access controls and where the vehicle sits. Have its year, make and model ready and confirm whether the request is a lockout, spare key or all-keys-lost replacement.
