A fob that admits you to the building may be unrelated to the key that opens your unit. If the common entrance is the problem, contact the building administrator as well. For a unit lock change, clarify permission and whether the building has a managed key system before work is arranged.
Office suite access
Tell us if the office is inside a controlled building and who can admit a visitor to the floor. A manager should identify which locks an affected key operates and whether building services must approve hardware changes. Do not treat a suite key as permission to alter the common entrance.
A recurring sticking lock
Describe when the door became difficult to use and whether it behaves differently when open. If the handle is loose or the bolt misses the strike, mention those symptoms. Choosing repair or replacement should follow an assessment of the whole closing and locking action.
